Atlas Facilities
ATLAS Connect has provisioned Co-Location Buildings (CLB) at six Business/Science Parks across Scotland.
Each CLB provides a secure environmentally controlled space. Equipment belonging to telecom operators, other service providers and tenants may be located within the CLB as a co-location facility for all active equipment needs.
CLB specifications include:-
- Security: - Security fencing, gates padlocked. External door secure lock and magnetic locks. External and Internal Cameras (PRI activated). Door entry – PIN and Proximity card controlled. Alarm system with door switch and PRI sensors,
- Power - Dual AC mains UPS / 40k VA systems with 30min max load capability. Dual DC 48V / 250A systems with 60min max load capacity. On Site standby diesel mains generator,
- Fire suppression - Very Early Smoke Detection Alarm (VESDA) system. Smoke and gas alarm detection ARGON gas system (double knock activation),
- Air conditioning – Dual units,
- Building Management System – 120 event monitoring system,
- Gas/Flood protection detection,
- Fibre - Fibre cabling (NAP to CLB & CLB to Tenant buildings) is single mode 9/125m, conforming to ITU G652 recommendations,
- Hosting - Both 19” communications cabinets and ETSI rack space is available for rental.
